Like Paw Paw, Like Uncle...Like Jbaby.

B came home for lunch one day...asked me to mow the grass...then five minutes later I heard the mower running in the back yard! I knew he wouldn't let me get close enough to the lawn mower to even *think* about mowing the grass!


When I looked out, I saw him mowing...and Jbaby following right behind him! As always when playing in the back yard, Jbaby has on his hard hat, he is all about safety first!

Now, it has become an every time the grass needs mowing kind of thing!

Jbaby's Room!

When we first moved in we wanted to make Jbaby as comfy as possible and have his room be his very own. We put our furniture in his room, a tv armoire, a dresser, night stand and a queen size bed. After some time we all started getting settled in. We did a little scavenger hunting, good friends helped us out and we were expert yard sellers!

And so, Jbaby has now a his sized room with a bed and toys and furniture that is just right for him.

We found him a twin size bed and we are still needing a twin box spring and frame but other than that I think his room is perfect!

Memorial Day

The Friday before Memorial Day B, Jbaby and I went to the local cemetery to place American Flags at the gravesites of our fallen veterens.

It was beautiful moment and I was so glad to be able to help honor those who gave their all for us.

Sunny Skies, Once in a Blue Moon

Since March, I think I have seen the sun a hand full of times. So, when the sun is out and the wind isn't knocking us down I try to get out of the house with Jbaby and let him run and play.

One day last week we got out and played in the flowers behind our house and he let me take a few pictures of him.

Things are starting to fall into place.

After what has felt like a hundred years, two hundred applications, 50 interviews and no luck, things are starting to look up...a little. I GOT A JOB! It's at a little restaurant really close to base. It's a job people, not a career and it is what we need for right now. Also, we have found a wonderful sitter to watch Jbaby the days that I work and she doesn't charge us a million dollars. Also, B and I are now donating plasma twice a week. The house still has no interested buyers and time is running out. We have decided between the market and our sorry Realtor that we are just going to try and rent it out this summer. It pains me, especially with all the hard work my dad has put into it to ge is sell ready but we can not continue to pay the mortgage and still make all of our other bills.

My mom will be here in just a bit more than a month. I can't be more excited! I need my mom and Jbaby needs his Gammy! HOPEFULLY it will start warming up here. We had a warm weather teaser a few weeks ago, every day sunny and in the mid seventies. Since then it has been chilly, windy and raining. No fun.

We won tickets to a Vikings preseason game for this August. I am stupid silly excited about it and can't wait to go.

I am starting to get more photo shoots booked and people contacting me about some of my work. That is exciting and mo money mo betta.

That is about all that is new around Forks. Very glad to have found a job, making a little money and getting some help with Jbaby.

God is good and my life is too.
