I picked B up from the airport February 4th! He graduated on February 3rd from his technical training. B was honored as “Distinguished Graduated” for his academic excellence. I am so ridiculously proud of him!

He came in on Thursday so we had a long weekend to catch up and visit with some family and friends. Monday he started a two week recruiter’s assistance program. Which basically give him two weeks to help out at his recruiters office so that he wouldn’t have to A) use leave time that he didn’t have to be home for a few days and help get things in order to move, and B) not use any leave time and us have to move the same weekend he came home. Very happy that he was able to get in the program and have two extra weeks at home after being gone for six months.

The moving company came yesterday and did an inventory of our things. They should be back the 16th to pack and load…then will move it out and up to North Dakota on the 17th. We will be leaving North Carolina on the 20th. I am excited and nervous about our big move. Glad to be with Blake again, glad to be going someone neither of us have ever been, excited to finally get this new adventure started together, nervous about the cold, finding a job, leaving my family, being SO FAR away from them and my friends.

Everything will work out, I know, that’s what everyone says.
